During the two-week period, learners write and save their contribution to the project on the wiki which is then reviewed or further developed by the same writer or some other student. In this way, the product is finalized through many drafts, a fact which usually reduces the cognitive effort involved and makes writing more enjoyable (Pennington, 1996).  Up to this point, the teacher neither interferes with the learners’ writing nor corrects any of the mistakes made.

As the two weeks come to an end, the learners have to present their brochures to their teacher and classmates. During the presentations, they describe the pictures they used and give details on the information they gathered. Then, the teacher presents a list of mistakes that were noticed on the wiki and asks learners to correct them. When this is not possible, the teacher provides the relevant explanations.

Finally, the class evaluates the brochures, votes for the destination that seems to be more appealing to them and try to provide explanations for their choice. As a homework, the teacher assigns the learners to write a paragraph justifying their choice of island, which will be evaluated at the next lesson. This time they have to work individually.

At the end, the teacher informs the learners that the wiki will remain active for future projects and discussions between them whenever they feel like communicating with each other.
