Summative assessment - research project
In groups of five students choose some research questions assigned by the teacher and do a small scale research project. First they have to review the theoretical background on the big issues of drugs. Then each group has to join the findings in one power point presentation. They should also as a whole class prepare a short closed type (yes – no) questionnaire of five questions and distribute it to other two classes of their school. Their survey reflects teenagers’ perceptions about taking drugs and the impact on teenagers , the role of mass media, the society and school. In the end students present their data findings in class and discuss about them. A peer assessment is followed and the teacher gives a constructive feedback .
