Step 1 (5')

Watch the introduction of the documentary (1':38") you are going to watch later in the lesson. It outlines the main issues to be discussed. Be careful while watching and do the matching exercise at the end of the introduction.

Step 2 (30')

You are going to watch the second part of the documentary. It has been divided in four parts, at the end of which you will be asked to accomplish a variety of tasks. You can have a look at the tasks in the Listening Tasks Worksheet (Worksheet 1), so that you know what you are expected to pay particular attention to. At the end of each part you can check your answers on your computers and find out your score. How many correct answers did you get?

Step 3 (15')

It's time to join your groups. Each group will be given a discussion card containing a topic related to the theme of the scenario (Worksheet 2). Would you like to revise vocabulary for agreeing and disagreeing before you begin? After you have discussed the topic in your groups, you will form new groups, which will consist of one member from all original groups. Summarize the main points you have discussed about the topic in your group's discussion card.
