In this final phase, you will work in groups. You have to read carefully the situation your teacher will give you (Worksheet 1) and then write a newsletter using the Smilebox application.

Step 1

Read the situation very carefully and try to empathise with the person writing the newsletter. Imagine you were in his/her position and try to guess the news he/she might write about, his/her feelings, anxieties, plans etc. If it helps you, you can watch again the part of the video you watched in the previous phase corresponding to your situation. Don’t worry if this stage will take you some time!

Step 2

Then, use the Smilebox application and write your newsletter. To do so, follow the instructions below. When your newsletter is ready, print it and hang it in the language corner in your classroom.
